• How will I be paid?
    • Payments are processed every Wednesday by BACS to be in your account every Friday. Please be aware that at what point will depend on your banks schedule.
    • You will receive weekly payslips via e-mail or post detailing your Net and Gross earnings and any tax paid.
    • If you have not received a payment or have any queries about your pay please contact Rebecca Cross: becky@argentiagroup.co.uk
  • What is required each week?
    • Each week we require you to send through your signed timesheet, by our midday Monday deadline for your previous weeks work.
    • Timesheets can be faxed to 0845 500 9991 or scanned and e-mailed to timesheets@argentiagoup.co.uk
    • Remember you must also send your timesheets to your agency to ensure funds are processed to us each week.
    • If you are due to receive a bonus or have to pay for training etc, please let us know so that we can add or deduct the amount from your pay.
    • Please note if we are not aware of the addition or deduction, it will follow in your following week's pay.
  • Can I put expenses through Argentia’s standard package?
    • Argentia does not offer expenses on a weekly basis. Instead we restructure your pay in a way which eliminates the need for hundreds of receipts.
    • By operating as an efficient, high volume business we are able to offer higher retention rates than many of our competitors.
    • However employees of Argentia should retain receipts for expenses in case they may be used at the end of the tax year.
  • What should I do if my job, agency or rate changes?
    • If you change your agency or if your rate changes, you must inform us before the change occurs.
    • You will need to complete the Change of Rate/Agency Form and fax it through to us on 0845 500 9991.
    • Please be aware that from experience we have found that your agency may change your rate without letting you know. This can be backdated and is usually detected early on if your agency send schedules to Limited companies.
    • If you do find that your rate has changed and we were not aware of the change, we will work with your agency to backdate any funds owed.
  • What should I do when I want to leave Argentia?
    • With Argentia you are free to come and go as you please.
    • There is no minimum or maximum period that you are required to stay for. All you will need to do is request a P45 form from us, for you to present to your next employer in the UK.
    • If you are returning home due to Visa restrictions, and need any assistance to get a new visa Argentia will be happy to help in any way.
    • We do have a Visa associate that offers discounted prices for Argentia candidates. For more information, contact Rebecca Cross on becky@argentiagroup.co.uk who can provide you with the necessary assistance you may require.
  • Do I need to submit a Tax Return?
    • If you have not been self employed at some point in the financial year, then you will generally not need to complete a Tax Return.
    • However to make this easier for you Argentia can complete a FREE end of year tax return for you at your request. All you need to do is request a 64-8 form from us.
    • This will authorise our accountants to complete any return required on your behalf, leaving you worry free that you have anyting outstanding with HMRC.
    • If you think you may need to complete a Tax Return, or if you receive a pack through the post from the Inland Revenue requesting you to complete a Tax Return and have questions on how to complete the forms, please contact Mel Bartlett: mb@argentiagroup.co.uk
  • What do I do if I do not have a P45?
    • When joining Argentia you will need to send us your original P45 from your previous employer.
    • If you do not have a P45 when you join Argentia, you will need to complete a P46.
    • This then needs to be completed and faxed back to us on: 0845 500 9991 or 01962 856 377.
    • Please note that you only need to complete Part 1, as your employer we will complete Part 2 before sending it off to the Revenue.
    • If you have any queries on how to complete the form, please contact Mel Bartlett in accounts: mb@argentiagroup.co.uk
